Keep Up The Good Work

I love it when examples of good work and hard-working pupils come through the door; it really cheers me up.

Last week, I had children who were able to explain complex mathematical thinking to others who have been practicing maths at home without being asked – and others who were feeling extremely proud of what they had achieved.  Well done to them all.

These children from Nursery and Reception came to show me the certificates that they had received in assembly.  I really enjoyed talking to them.  Well done to them all.

Look who has been bringing me work.

I’ve had a problem with my computer that has meant that I haven’t been able to post pictures of the great work that children have been bringing me.  It’s now fixed, so here’s some that I’ve been saving.  I’m sure you’ll agree that there’s a great range of work: art, D/T, maths, writing and some pupils of the week.  It really is a pleasure to talk to the children about the work that they bring; it’s what school is all about.  Keep it up – and keep coming to see me.  Well done.

Well done to this week’s Mindset Heroes! It was great to hear their teachers talking about how hard they’ve been working this week.

These were some of my favourite comments:

▪️ ‘She always wants to learn, and never gives up.’

▪️ ‘She’s written some excellent sentences.’

▪️ ‘She’s been asking some excellent questions.’
